Hello. My name is Marianne and I am a new immigrant in Montreal. However, I have studied and lived in Vancouver for 3 years and had experience babysitting 2 kids in the house. I also had some health care aide experience in British Columbia. I was a registered nurse in the Philippines specializing in Pediatric and Neonatal nursing for 5 years. I am youthful, trustworthy, honest, dependable, and committed in providing safe and efficient care for children. I am organized and meticulous and can be trusted with good housekeeping. I was a registered nurse in my country specializing in neonatal and pediatric care. With neonates, my duties include feeding, changing diapers, bathing, and putting baby to sleep. I care for 6-8 babies at one time. On the other hand, when caring for pediatric patients between ages 1-12 years of age, I engage them in play activities, promote independence in exploring their environment and keeping them safe at the same time, help them in feeding and bathing, and organize educational and recreational activities. I have cared for 5-6 pediatric patients at a time. Aside from dealing with patients in the hospital, I look after my nieces and nephews aged between 1-6 years old and do the same tasks with what I do at work.
