Nanny in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

I am 24 years old, currently enrolled in Holistic Nutrition at Canadian School of Natural Nutrition through correspondence to obtain an RHN (Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant) designation, passionate about eating healthy and exercise, also a mother of a 10 month old girl! I have completed some Child and Youth Care course work through NSCC but was unable to complete due to school hours and having a little one.. (hence correspondence.) I know several basic sign language signs as I am in the process of teaching my daughter so we can better communicate. I have always been surrounded by kids as my brother was born when I was 11 years old. Also, several of my parents friends had children around that time which is when my babysitting career began and dream to work with kids developed. I have babysat up to 3 kids at one time, including two infants and one toddler. I am finished maternity leave in January and hoping to obtain a Nanny position in early January. I am open to babysitting in my home from 7am-7pm. I live within 5 minute walk from Colby Elementary School which has 2 playgrounds. Within 15 minute walk from Cole Harbour place where I take my daughter for swims and to the library for puppet shows. I have my own car and licence therefore, getting around is not a problem , we can even get your groceries. When I was 11 years old I attended a Baby Sitter's Course and obtained certification with CPR and First Aid. My brother was born that year, along with my parents friends children. I began babysitting when I was 12, up to 3 children at a time (two infant's and one toddler.) Duties included entertaining , changing diapers, putting to bed, tidying up.
