I also have a number of other qualifications which make me the ideal candidate for this position. I have my First Responder Certificate, which is an advanced level of first aid and CPR. This course also had a part focusing specifically on infant resuscitation and CPR. I am also extremely patient and calm. I love to have fun with children and play but I am also able to earn the respect of the children through consistency. I have years of experience in working with children that would help me in this position. My mother has run a before and after school childcare business out of her home for the past five years. During those years, I was a secondary caregiver to the children, at times caring for them when my mother had appointments. At the busiest times, we had 9 children to care for. This care involved getting them a healthy snack and monitoring a safe playtime until parents came to pick them up. As well, I have been babysitting children since a young age, when I had my first jobs babysitting a 6-month old, a 2 year old and a 4 year old at the same time.
