Nanny Job in Courtenay, British Columbia

About us: We have a five year old (neurodiverse) and an almost three year old who require care and adventures. My daughter who is five will be going to kindergarten for full days and would need to be dropped off and picked up during the day if she needed and then after school care. She is so smart, loving and kind. She is a very easy child and enjoys solitary pursuits!!!! The almost three year old is so shy (covid kid) and loves just being held, books and outside adventures. We would need someone to prepare food for them, go on adventures (swimming, hiking, parks), clean up after them, and take them places. Light meal prep and cleaning would be appreciated. My ideal candidate would live in or out and work 3.5 to 4 days per week. They would enjoy the country and love the outdoors. The person would have a drivers license, their first aid and CPR (I can pay for the course if you don’t have it) and provide a criminal record check (paid for by myself). It would be a huge asset if the person had basic knowledge of neurodiversity and love dogs too!! With this said, we are really open and accepting people so if you feel that this might be a fit for you please reach out. After the interview I would like the person to start right away. I am also looking to do a trial for a week to see if it is a good fit for everyone and then for both parties to make the final decision. Also, I have tried the LMIA and sponsorship route and unfortunately, can't afford to wait that long this time.
