Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! My name is chantel, I am 20 years old and I\'d love the opportunity to spend my time looking after your children! I grew up with many younger siblings and cousins and I absolutely adore spending time with children. my future plans include a post-secondary degree in early childhood development, and I am looking to gain some hands on experience as a personal nanny. I've grown up with two younger siblings and have very close relationships with them both. Growing up I did a lot of babysitting and spending time with them. Especially during my summers. I've spent many of my summers looking after them throughout the day. I also have 4 cousins aged between 20 months, and 9 years Id spend my days keeping them entertained and spending time with them by taking them to the green shack, going for walks, making lunch, the children that required naps I'd put down for naps and have quiet time with the other children. Just try to keep a fun and active environment for them. Throughtout my teens I had a lot of different night time babysitting jobs. One of them included a 2 year old and a 3 year old. I'd go over around 5 pm, feed them dinner, settle them down with a movie or some tv and read them some books, then put them down to bed and stay until their parents came home. This gave me experience with putting small children down to sleep. Also growing up with siblings I know all about busy morning routines and how to get the kids up and at it, ready for school, and out the door to school.
