Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi there! My name is Tahnee Ritchie and I am from Melbourne in Australia and are here living in Victoria with my husband who is an exchange fire fighter with the Victorian Fire Department until the end of December, 2014. I am a qualified teacher with 5 years experience teaching at a large international private school in Melbourne. I teach outdoor education to children aged 8-17years of age. While studying to become a teacher I completed lots of babysitting work and nanny care to compliment my studies with children. I have been working for a family with two girls aged 1 and 3 for the past 5 months in Langford, however, they have now moved to Duncan and I am looking for a new family to work with up until we move back home. We have lots of travel planned throughout the Summer and into the Fall, therefore I would not be available to start until October 15th. I have vast experience looking after children of all ages and absolutely love very young children. I have baby sat new born babies right through to 12 year olds. My profile picture is me with my niece who is now aged two, and I look after her and her sister (aged 4) regularly back in Melbourne. My husband works 4 days on and 4 day off and when he is not working we are wanting to explore Vancouver Island and greater Canada therefore I have varied availability. I would love to make some connections with the local community and to be involved in some work to help the bank balance along to fund our stay here. I have a passion for working with children and am an active, fun loving person who knows the demands of looking after children and I am ready to meet new families and children.
