Hi there! My name is Ashley. First let me begin by telling you a bit about myself. I have always had an interest in working with children. I plan to attend post secondary for ECE and/or children\'s counselling. My experience within child care varies from camp counsellor to daycare assistant and babysitter. At these facilities I would set up activities, plan the day, supervise and interact in child\'s play, ensure safety and comfort of the children, prepare snack and fill out any attendance or accident forms needed. I have experience with children aged 6 month- 12 years and also children with some disability and allergies. I am certified in CPR, first aid and WHIMIS. I would really love the opportunity to experience a nanny position before attending school within the next 2 years. Thanks for reading :) I have worked at multiple day camps as a counsellor. Including oasis bible day camp, west wood day camp and west wood after school program also sunrise horse riding camp. At these camps in would help set up and supervise and join in on activities and games with the children, set up and prepare snack, take care of any child conflict occurring and taking care of any incidents that occurred. I also completed a 2 term coop at first steps day care where I would monitor children's play, prepare snack, teach children numbers, weather and alphabet. I would entertain children for periods of time with stories or crafts. At these facilities I worked with ages 18 months - 12 years old. I have my CPR, WHIMIS and first aid certificates. I also have been babysitting since the age of 12.
