Hi there, I am a fun loving, hard working kiwi girl who would love to work for your family during my time in Canada. I am a qualified primary teacher and love working with children of all ages. I am willing to do any sort of chores around the home and help with homework. I consider myself to be a good cook who has a sound knowledge of nutrition and the food a healthy, growing, child needs. I am an active sporty person and love the outdoors. My favourite activities are surfing, hiking, snowboarding and running. I also enjoy team sports such as field hockey and netball ( sort of like basketball!). My other hobbies include reading, listening to music and attempting to play my guitar. I currently have a full New Zealand drivers licence and believe I can drive in Canada on this but am willing to update it if necessary. I have been driving for over 10 years. I very much looking forward to hearing from you, Sarah :) I am a qualified Primary School teacher and have worked as a Full Time teacher of all subjects ( math, writing, reading, art, physical education, science, technology etc!) for the past 3 years in New Zealand. Previous to teaching I have nannied for two different families. Family A had 2 year old twins ( girl and boy) and a four year old (girl). This position was 30 hours a week and involved food preparation of gluten free, wheat free vegetarian, organic meals, house duties such as washing, vacuuming and cleaning as well as taking the children to activities such as gymnastics and kindergarten. Family B was a 4 year old boy and 7 year old girl. 20 hours a week. Tasks involved driving children to activities, school pick ups, dinner preparation and homework help. Prior to this I have worked with children in different positions such as camp instructor, babysitting, sports coaching and community groups.
