Nanny in Markham, Ontario

I'm an
Individual
Hi there. I grew up as the oldest child in my family. My brothers and sisters are over ten years younger than me, and I have learned how to care for them and spend time with them. As I grew older, I began using these skills to babysit children in my neighbourhood. Throughout my high school and university career, I have made teaching and working with youth my goal at the end of my undergraduate degree. I have put a lot of time into volunteering with children. I was involved in a library reading group and tutoring children 5 years and up during my second year of university. I also worked as a notetaking assistant, giving notes to my peers with disabilities. I have learned that it is of the utmost importance to care for children by providing a loving, safe environment. Similarly, I took a peer tutoring course. This course helped me to learn about the many factors that are involved in becoming a teacher. I learned how to maintain the attention of children, and how to target all areas of learning when teaching children a new skill. I also learned how to deal with behavioural issues, learning disabilities, and mental illness that children may have. My hobbies involve my university\'s drama club which I am involved in and plays. I am energetic and fun with children. Most of all, I make sure that children are well-fed, clean, and happy when they are in my care. I will give you my dedication, and will try my best to create a happy environment anytime that I am in your home. Hi there. I grew up as the oldest child in my family.
