Nanny in Lethbridge, Alberta

Hi, My Name is Veronica. I am a first year Education student. I have a diploma in Early Learning and Child Care. I have always known I wanted to work with children. I find it so rewarding to know I have helped a child grow, develop and achieve. It is amazing to watch and see the changes and learning happening. I have been working with children since the summer of 2009. I worked at the local Boys and Girls Club for four years before I moved away to get my diploma. While studying for my diploma I had nannying and babysitting jobs. My experience is with children of all ages. I have some babysitting/ mothers helper experience with infants as young as one month old. I have practicum and nannying experience with toddlers(1-3 years of age). I have practicum, babysitting and nannying experience with preschool-aged children(3-5). I have experience with school-aged children (5 ) in a after-school and summer camp setting as well as babysitting and nannying. I am looking to be a part time nanny/mothers helper or babysitter as I work towards my degree. I am available during the week and on weekends. I have been a mothers helper/part-time nanny for a family that has four boys ages 1 month- 5 years. The three older boys and I do crafts, play games and read stories while the mother spends time with the baby. I make lunches and snacks for the older boys. I worked at my local Boys and Girls Club for four years. I worked after school and during the summer. During that time I: lead big and small group games; would help the children and youth with homework; planned and explained games to other staff.
