Hi, my name is Melanie I'm 25 years old and I moved to Montreal in 2010 for Graduate school in fine arts. My class work is finished now, and I'm available anytime. I've worked as a summer-camp coordinator for 4 years, and have babysat for 9. I enjoy working with children and infants, and have hundreds of fun and educational activities for a wide range of ages. I'm a firm believer in the importance of reading to children. I've also worked as a housekeeper and a prep-cook. I enjoy cooking and can produce a variety of healthy food children want to eat. I'm organized, hard-working, and have excellent housekeeping abilities. I also have strong communication skills and I'm a patient listener. I was the day-camp coordinator for Sorrento Centre in BC for summers 2003, 20..., and 2006. I was responsible for scheduling and leading activities, as well as caring for children with special needs. Activities included: water sports, arts and crafts, out-door games, field trips, and team-building activities. Children in the day-camp ranged in age from 5-12.
