Hi, My name is Catherine Briggs. I enjoy working with children. I previously have had wonderful experiences with working with children. I really like getting creative and planning activities that the children with have fun participating in. I have lived on my own and so have learned how to do many of the daily tasks that you may seek of a nanny such as; cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry, and other household tasks. I have worked 4 summers with special needs and so have lots of patients with looking after those who need care and assistance with daily tasks. I have an easy time adapting to anything you many need me to do with or for the children. Hope this helps you get an idea of who I am. I babysat all during my highschool years as well as having nieces that I have looked after. My mom was a primary teacher and so I often was in the classroom helping out as well. I also worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitating a Go Girls Program. This included a group of 12 girls ages 12-14. I organized games and activities that would promote their wellbeing in term of healthy eating, positive body image, way of dealing with peer pressure.
