Hi my name is Becca and love working with families. I studied families in University and after many years working in the group childcare environment I have found myself more drawn to working with individual families helping in whatever way I can to create optimal household flow and work-life balance. Most recently I have stepped away from my family service career to deal with my health, and focus on my art career and have been spending time facilitating art for children at local events, I would now like to transition back to family service with a big focus on art and sensory activities. prior to this I was working for several families in Vancouver BC in 2014. I nanny shared for two families with infants under 18 months and did occasional care for several other families. in my role I did all the activity planning and daytime care giving for 30 hours a week for the two infants and meal planned and cooked for one of the families. For years before that I have worked at various points within Group Child care settings in Brampton and Hamilton Ontario as an assistant classroom teacher doing program planning for children from 6 months-5 years and acting as centre cook.
