I have an interest in working with children in the early learning room. I feel strongly that I would be a great fit for a position in this field. As a recent graduate of the Early Childhood Education program from Canadore College, I have gained valuable knowledge in this field. I have completed courses in Child Development, School Age Care, Infant Toddler, Exceptionalities, Playing to learn core training and many others. In addition, over the past four years I have had the opportunity to work in 4 schools as part of the placement component of my program as well I have had paid employment in 3 child care centres. For the past two years, I also coached a First Lego League in the fall for children ages 4-8 years old. There was a lot of play based learning involved and lots of interacting with parents. I also have experience working with children with various disabilities through the respite work I do, and some experience I had working in group homes. I have found each opportunity wonderful, allowing me to see the children learn and grow. I love the work I do! I am a live-in nanny available for full time work starting ASAP.
