Hi Everyone! My name is Kristie Vucic and I am a third year health sciences student at the University of Western Ontario. I consider myself to be a fun, energetic, and caring individual who really enjoys working with children. My previous experiences teaching piano, working at a before and after school program, and being a soccer coach have allowed me to incorporate my hobbies and love for children together. My schedule is very flexible and I have my own vehicle which makes transportation easy. I believe my willingness to help out around the house and ensure a safe and beneficial learning environment for children is a great asset. Piano Teacher at the Conservatory for Musical Studies for 3 years: taught piano lessons to students aged 3-65 on a weekly basis, prepared to students for Royal Examinations and concerts. Soccer Coach at Saltfleet GoAhead Soccer Club for 2 summers: supervised young children aged 2-6, arranged regular snack schedules and supplied healthy snacks, prepared mentally stimulating drills for the children to take part in, and teach technical skills. Health Promotion Mentor at Lit Western: assisted with an after-school health promotion program for children aged 6-9, taught students lessons pertaining to health promotion such as how to make healthy snacks and why smoking is not a healthy habit. London Children's Connection Supply Center Staff: supervised children aged 5-13, help prepare snacks, ensure children are safe and monitored at all times.
