Hi everyone! My name is Emily and Im currently working at the YMCA Northumberland. I am a supervisor at a before and after program for the last 2.5 years. I am always looking for new opportunities. I am extremely out going and absolutely love children. I love being active and believe it is a big part in a child\'s life. Anytime I can be in the outdoors or playing sports thats where I am. I enjoy doing crafts, singing and dancing, cooking, and love being an important role model and care giver to any child. My last two years in a child care centre have been amazing and I have learned so much. I am ready to work with families even closer and become the care giver your family needs! I hope to hear from you! :) I have done placements through me Early Childhood Education College course with all age groups other than newborns. I have had experience at Cooks School Daycare for two summers. (2013) I worked with toddlers and preschoolers. Summer (2014) I worked with school age children going on different trips and doing different activities with the children. Some days our centre has up to 45 children. I now have my current job which is being a supervisor at a before and after school program. My daily tasks are making the children feel that their in a safe environment. Keeping all activities open play and expands on their ideas. Keeping my centre clean and organized to make sure germs are not spread. As well as paper and office work for ministry standards.
