Hi Everyone! Let me start out by introducing myself: My name is Amanda Gorman, and I am an active, fun-loving, positive and cheerful 21 year old student who currently studies at the University of Ottawa. I study Fine Arts and focus my field into painting and drawing. I have to say that working creatively is my absolute passion in life. I love to spend a lot of time outside taking my dog on walks to Bruce Pit, bike riding, snowboarding and baking in the time that I\'m not in my studio. I take a lot of life inspiration from my wonderful mother, who successfully runs her own At-Home Daycare, and who is always on the move and giving me ideas for crafts and my next painting project. I have always enjoyed the company of children, and love to spend time with my younger cousins as much as I can. I find myself to be patient and caring, and understanding of children\'s needs at any age. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years of age. My mother owns her own successful home daycare that is certified and regulated through Community Care. Therefore I have daily interaction with children of all ages. In my University career I am working on completing a Fine Arts course that allows me to creatively navigate through life. I have also successfully completed a Childhood Psychology course which I thoroughly enjoyed.
