Nanny Job in Erin, Ontario

We are looking for a bright, warm and engaging child service provider to provide care to our son and daughter, aged 9 and 5. Our needs are a little unique as I am self-employed and only commute to the Mississauga office 3 days per week. Our home is in Hillsburgh, Ontario which is about half way between Orangeville and Georgetown, and it can be tricky to find someone in a remote area. Presently we need someone to pick-up the kids from school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week and provide care, in our home, from 3:25 pm to 6 pm on these days. Providing some quiet time after school, making afternoon snack, chatting about the day, unpacking backpacks and spending some quality time are all necessary on these days (oh, and you will break up the odd sibling squabble!! lol). Dinner preparation will not be required. I also require help on school holidays such as Christmas and March Break and of course, during the summer months, so this position would be suitable for a high school or college student. Both my kids are very bright and we are not a "sit in front of the tv" family. I want them to be engaged with activities, reading, outdoor play but most of all I need to ensure that they get loving attention on the days when I cannot be home.
