Hello there! I am a friendly, patient, and responsible 19 year old looking to help you out. I will be returning home from my current position running the kids program at Sundance Guest Ranch on September 8th and am available from there onward. I absolutely love working with kids, majority because a lot of childcare has to do with having fun and letting your inner child out. I love the outdoors and animals, and love planning activities for children (games, swimming, adventures, treasure hunts, adventures etc). I am extremely devoted to work, it is always my priority. I am very organized, and am more than happy to help housekeep, cook, clean, organize, and clean up after your younger ones. I have had tons of experience working with children. I have worked in many areas in the last while doing different jobs and my passion for caring for children, playing, and laughing with them outshines the interest I had in any of the other areas. I began childcare as a child myself at age 12, babysitting my little sister and neighbours children for minimum wage. That continued until I turned 18, where I started a nanny job for a family friend. I cared for a 4 year old and a 9 year old, getting them dressed, fed breakfast, lunches made. I drove the 9 year old to school, and spent the day planning activities and playing with the 4 year old for the day. Light housework and cleaning as well. Spent a couple overnight shifts caring for the children and dogs. Then since early summer 2014 I have been at Sundance Guest ranch in BC running the kids program here. I care for 3-7 year olds, often up to 8 kids at a time. I run the kids program while the parents are taken out on horseback rides. I work full time here doing this, 7 hours a day 6 days a week, planning activities and games to keep all the children entertained for the day. I rarely have a helper with me, so I have tons of experience working with different ages and know how to handle situations to get them to get along and cooperate and play fairly together despite the range of age and interest differences. In the evenings as well I will take kids of all ages on the ranch and plan games like capture the flag etc.
