Hello there! My name is Juliette Eilers and I am currently in my last year of Nursing school. I would love to work with your family and your children, should we be a good match for each other! I have always had a big heart for children ever since I can remember, the embarrassing stories my parents tell about me usually involve me being "The Little Mom" of the family! I have been told I am a responsible, mature, hard working, dedicated, organized and kind-hearted person my my friends, family and employers and one of the things I pride myself on is the connection I can make with children. Growing up I was always babysitting my younger sibling's the neighbour's kid's, and my parent's friend's children. As I grew older I began babysitting all around where I lived and when I was old enough I became a Camp counsellor at the summer camp that I myself had been attending since age 6. I love to work and interact with children! I can assure you that the bond I am capable of creating with your child will be life long. Thank you so much, Juliette Eilers I can remember as soon as I turned 12, I begged my mother to sign me up for the "Red Cross Babysitting Course" and from then on out I was always looking after my neighbours kids, my friends parents kids and my own siblings. Ive always had a huge heart for children and I have been a camp counsellor During summers in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Ive always dealt with a vast age range, sometimes new borns and sometimes children only a year younger than myself, but Ive been consistently told that my maturity level is higher than almost all people my age. The most children I have ever been in charge of at once is about 18, having worked at a children's summer camp for two years. As a counsellor I plan and coordinate activities for groups ranging from 8-18, ages 6-16. Kids are unpredictable and you always need a back up plan, quick thinking and spontaneity is a must! As well, duties would include being in charge of my cabin of girls, usually 7 or 8 of them, which includes ensuring they are eating at mealtimes, being aware of any medical or special needs, ensuring they are dressed appropriately everyday for the weather, keeping their hygiene up during the week, playing games and interacting with them, as well as being a mentor figure at all times.
