Hello parents! As you have already read, my name is Laura Radford. I am currently enrolled in the Faculty of Education in the PreK-5 program. Over my many years of experience of working with children I have realized how much I enjoy watching them learn and grow. I cannot wait to devote my career to assisting them in their overall development and setting them up for a successful future. Please consider me when looking for childcare for your little ones. I have worked at a daycare, Sandcastle Childcare, since 2008. I began by working part-time, as a part-time employee I would cover other coworkers breaks, holidays and sick days. I also worked full-time at the daycare and I looked after a group of 5 toddlers. Currently while attending school I work at the before and after school program that Sandcastle's childcare also runs. Over the years of working at Sandcastle's I have potty trained children, changed diapers, fed them, laid children down for naps, used appropriate discipline, planned outings, planned crafts and activities, and talked with parents about their children's day or any concerns. Also while working at Sandcastle's childcare I obtained my level one in Early Childhood Education at SIAST.
