Hello my name is Nicole, I am a 26 year old well mannered, articulate, respectful and responsible nanny, with a great deal of experience working with children. I am a confident child caregiver who is emotionally mature, possess high energy levels and an ability to develop close relationships with both children and families. I possess excellent communication skills and I am able to relate well and converse with people at all ages and levels, in a polite and courteous manner. I have the ability to work and provide an excellent standard even under considerable pressure all while presenting a positive image to others and the children. I am looking to find a position with a responsible employer/family where I will be able to continue to increase my work experience & develop my abilities, while providing the utmost best care you could hope for your children in your absence. I am a certified Health Care Aide, with both CPR and First Aid training. I have a clean and clear Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check - all of which I am willing to obtain a more recent one at the request of an employer. I am a smoker, but I refrain from doing so when I am around children. I have babysat my sister, cousins, nephews, nieces and children of family friends since I was 12 (14 years). The ages of the children range from new borns to school age children. Duties varied depending on the age of children and whom I was sitting for but were not limited to: Meal and snack preparation and feeding of children (or making plates) Cleaning - after meals, light house keeping, helping children to keep rooms tidy and put away toys Helping children with hygiene - changing diapers, helping to use the washroom, bathing, helping to brush teeth, styling of ponytails and braids. Participating with children in activities, ie. games, educational games, reading, homework, getting all children to cooperate share and play nice with each other.
