Hello! My name is Meghan and I am excited to introduce myself. I have a true passion for children and teaching and have surrounded myself with opportunities to do as such for as long as I can remember. I love the drive and imagination that children bring and the ability to learn and take pride in whatever it is they choose to do. I believe that it is important to provide children with a safe, healthy and warm environment where they can explore and learn what they like and don\'t like. One of my goals in life is to give children the opportunity to see things in the world differently and to spark a passion in a child, in an area they may never have known they liked. I wish to provide structure and guidance for them but to also provide opportunities. I believe I am very compassionate and fair person and I truly try my best at everything I set my mind to. I have been working with children for over 15 years. I have been a swimming instructor and lifeguard for ten of those years. I have also volunteered in classrooms, ran tutoring programs, ran big sister/motivations programs for children, worked with special needs children, ran camps and other recreational programs. I have been a certified teacher for 2 years and have done a lot of long term occasional work and supply work. I have taken care of children from a young age of 1 to teenagers and adults. I have had a variety of training and experience and have a true passion for children.
