Hello, my name is Leslie, I am from Mexico. I have had the opportunity to take care of two children in my country and two more in Canada. Currently I am living in Vancouver. I love this job because is a good opportunity to teach a new generations and at the same time learn from them. I like to teach them how to be more independent, If parents agree I like to teach them Spanish, I love dance and sing with them and do activities outside home. Have a excellent day :) Leslie I have had the opportunity to take care for four beautiful children. Two girls and two boys. Two of them are siblings. She had been just turned to 6 and her brother was 14 months. The other two kids were 15 months and 17 months when I started to take care for them. Some of the activities that we used to do: Start Strong Program and The Story Time at local schools, assist to the Baby music program at library, go to the movie theatre, visit some parks, playdates with other children and some activities at home: read books, play games, sing songs and make craft. Some of my duties: clean and keep their play area tidy, take care of their laundry and bedding, make meal for them and wash their dishes. In the case of one of the kids I was the mom's helper and I accompanied her to anyplace that she needed: supermarket, visit family and friends, baby shop, hospital, so on.
