Hello my name is Jayme Freeman, Im an out-going student who loves working with children. I have two younger brothers of my own who have reached an age where they dont want their big sister taking care of them. I spend my summers working and caring for children. I help these children with building new skills and developing as individuls. I work these children from the moment they wake up, til I tuck them in at bedtime, and if they need me in the middle of the night I\'m awake with a smile on my face to help them with whatever they need. Helping a child learn and develope is my passion, I\'m in pyscholgy at Ottawa U with minor in History, to later on be able to go into Teaching. I have been a camp councilor for the last three summers, and have done a J.S. staff summer with children. My responbilities were to tend to all the childrens needs, as well as build a relationship with the children, and deal with different behaviours. I helped them develop new skills (i.e. swimming, canoeing, nature knowledge ect.) I also did a co-op with the city of Ottawa day camp for the month of July in 2011 where my primary job was to care for the children. As well I have volunteered with after school programs with Christie Lake Kids for the past 5 years.
