Hello! My name is Jasmine. I am 18 years old and have years of experience with toddler-school aged children. I just finished my first year of University majoring in Linguistics. I have a love for language, learning about it and how people interpret it. I have a special needs younger brother with downsydrome and autism that I\'ve look after for 16 years. I worked in a one on one special needs day camp for 2 summers, where I met many children like my brother and interacted with them. For the last 2 summers I have also worked at an ESL summer program where I worked as a \"buddy\" to ESL students both inside and outside the classroom. We helped teach them english and canadian culture as well as play sports with them during lunch break and went on many field trips including galley farms and buchard gardens for example. I love to be active and play many sports, my favorites include badminton, swimming, basketball and rugby. I also enjoy reading and biology. In my highschool I was a very active member of our school\'s leadership club and I was captain of our weekly peer tutoring help desk. I am up for any challenge: light house work, walking the dog, helping with homework, and very active kids just being kids wanting to play. I am looking for a more or less full time position but also accepting part time. I do not own my own vehicle so I cannot transport your children anywhere, I will bus to your home to take care of you children, and can take your children out to nearby parks or rec centres if requested. While babysitting a 4 year old girl I prepared and made her snacks (after dinner), played with her toys/her doll house, read to her and put her to bed. As well I fed their cat that I was also looking after.
