Hello! My name is Faren, and I recently completed my first year at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Over my summer break, I\'m hoping to spend my days with some fun and energetic children who will keep me moving! Being in the naturopathic field has shown me the importance of eating clean, staying active, and enjoying the outdoors whenever possible. As a babysitter, you can feel confident that you children are safe while in my care, as I am a certified First Aid Instructor and Swimming Instructor with the Canadian Red Cross, so I know how to prevent any potential emergencies, and also know how to respond if required. I can also help your children to develop their swimming skills, to help build their confidence in and around water. In addition to teaching swimming lessons for children of all ages (ranging from infant to school age), I have also spent a summer as a live-in nanny, caring for two children, aged 4 and 6. My duties included meal preparations, light house work, and ensure the children had a fun and safe summer. My focus of activities is to have the children outside as much as possible, and form games and crafts around that.
