Nanny in Montreal, Quebec

Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I am a fourth year McGill student, and am studying elementary education. I am interested in nannying as I am staying in Montreal over the summer and would ideally like to work with children. For the past two summers I have been working at a natural history day camp in the states, and this fall semester worked in an elementary school as a student teacher. As a result, I have a good deal of experience working with children. I will be in Montreal all summer and could even help out on a more limited basis into the fall and winter of next year, as I will be enrolled in school full time. Additionally, I currently live in the lower plateau, and am very familiar with the city’s public transit. A bit more about myself—While studying education here I’ve become very interested in education policy, and hope to pursue a graduate degree in policy and then move back to the states to pursue a career. I also love the outdoors and developed interest in sustainability education while working at the natural history day camp. I am a devoted music fan, and write for a locally based music blog in my spare time. I love exploring the city and taking advantage of all that it has to offer-- I am a huge foodie and have eaten at more restaurants here than I can count! I am studying elementary education (ages 3-11) at McGill University and have completed three field experiences. During those field experiences I am completely responsible for a class of 30 students. I plan lessons, classroom management plans and then carry out organized classroom activities with all of the students. For the past two summers I have worked at a natural history day camp, and have been responsible for taking care of a group of 12 campers. During the day I am responsible for organizing hikes, games and arts and crafts projects.
