Hello! My name is Danielle. I am 24 years old and I love children! I have been surrounded by children my whole life and I couldn't imagine my life any different. I recently completed my degree in Child and Youth Work. I have also worked as a nanny for the past 6 years for 3 children ages 5-11 years and have found it to be the most rewarding experience! My family has also been fostering for the past few years so we have been caring for young children ages newborn-3 years old, so I have plenty experience with this age group. I have plenty of experience with children. I come from a large family of 6, with the addition of foster children in my home. I have worked as a nanny for the past 6 years for a family with 3 children, current ages are 6, and 11 year old twins. I cared for these children 6 days a week while their parents worked and was responsible for driving them to and from appointments and activities, preparing healthy meals, and light housecleaning. I also help the older children with homework, establishing a daily study schedule to work on reading and spelling. When I began this position 6 years ago the youngest child was 9 months old and I was responsible for feeding, clothing, bathing, and other day to day care for him as well. I have also worked, in connection with my child and youth worker degree, with a variety of children of varying ages (5-18 years of age), and of varying developmental and behavioural levels.
