Hello, I'm Cass! I've been a teacher now for 4.5 years. I originally taught children in Korea, and when I returned to Canada I taught English to both teenagers and adults. I was working at the largest English school in Canada (ILAC) and I enjoyed it but now it's time to move on. Ever since I taught children in Korea, I've realized that I really enjoy working with children. I feel that I'm making more of an impact when I work with kids - I feel like I'm doing something right. Of course, things aren't always easy with kids, but on the plus side, things are rarely ever boring with them either. ;) I really love children's points of view, their imaginations and creativity, and their ever-changing personalities. I think that there needs to be balance in a child's life and I would do my best to bring that to them. I believe that discipline is important - and fun is important, too. :) There needs to be both. I have no problem with sitting down to play dolls with a child or go through homework with them. I have a fairly easygoing personality and it takes a lot to get under my skin, but I know how important it is to enforce boundaries also. I'm extremely reliable and hardworking and easy to get along with (or so they tell me!) I would do my very best to provide good service for your family. I have no problem with pets, doing basic housekeeping, cooking or prep, or any other household activity. Along with that, I don't mind driving the kids to whatever activities they need to go to or just going out to the park for a game of tag.
