Hello, I would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to review my profile. With over 15 years of experience as a caregiver, working with children Is truly my passion. I have worked with 4 different families, as well as, working in a daycare as a Preschool Teacher (ECA) where I was responsible for a group of 8 children (2-4 years in age) and more recently for the YMCA of Greater Toronto as both a before and after care educator for kindergarten aged children, as well as assisting in infant, toddler, preschool and school age rooms. I am currently working towards completing my Diploma in Early Childhood Education online. In addition, I have graduated from the Children’s Metal Health Certificate Program offered at Durham College with high honours and I have completed several seminars focusing on learning through play, creating engaging play experiences, as well as the importance of positive guidance strategies. However, I feel that the children (and families) I have had the opportunity to work with have taught me the most. I have current first aid and CPR level C training and a valid G licence with a clean drivers abstract. I am patient, hard working and loyal. I am comfortable with any age range and I am looking for part time or full time afternoon/evening care.
