Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hello! I am Rachel, a recent graduate of the University of Victoria and I am 23 years old. When I was 13 years old I took a Babysitting and First Aid course, since then I have been offering my services as a babysitter and nanny. I enjoy every aspect of child care and find it fulfilling to be part of the developmental stages of a persons life. For the last ten years I have been a babysitter and nanny for three boys, now ages 7, 9 and 11. I have taken care of all three, alone, for up to two weeks while their families were on vacation and I enjoy the challenge of multitasking and keeping children stimulated as well as other aspects of care such as cooking, assisting with homework, reading and engaging in their extracurricular activities. I try to recall the traits which I regarded as positive in a babysitter when I was young and apply that skill set to how I babysit and nanny. I of course understand that I am not the primary care giver and that all families are different and each child has specific qualities and needs.
