Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hello! I am 24 and a social work student enrolled at Dalhousie university in Halifax but spending the summer in Ottawa in order to be closer to family. I love kids and it would be great to gain more experience with child care before I start work with children in the Social sector. I had a great experience nannying for two lovely girls two summers ago and hope to find another family to help out. I am fun loving, very caring and love expanding young minds while having fun in a safe environment. Summer of 2016I had the joy of nannying for a family with 2 beautiful daughters; ages 3 and 18 months. I spent time with them during the weekdays, playing and learning with them. I was responsible for their safety throughout the day, organizing outings to the parks, putting the youngest down for naps, feeding them etc. I helped a family with their 2 children; ages 2 and 5 for a three weeks during the summer of 2009. Duties included waking up, making meals during the day and taking the kids for outings around their neighbourhood; parks, museums, public library etc. I have 3 nieces; ages 13 years, 2 years and 6 months, and 2 nephews; aged 14 and 6 months who i've had the pleasure of watching over the years. Duties have included, spending over nights while parents were out, waking up, bedtimes/bath times, preparation of meals and daily activities and outings as well as changing and feeding of the youngest. I spent a couple days as a stand in sitter with a young toddler of 2 years old, taking him around in his stroller, feeding him, changing him, bathing, putting to bed etc.
