Hello Families, My name is Kelsey Wilson, I am 19 years old. I come from a Large family,and grew up around little kids. I find that taking care of children is very rewarding because you become a friend,role model and someone they look up to. I also find it important to establish trust, that way the child or children feel comfortable talking to you. I also thinks its key to have respect for the child or children, so they know you care and are there to keep them safe and to help them when needed. I have had prior Experience with caring for children all under the age of 14. Caring for the children included : making dinner, keeping them occupied ( playing games, watching movies, crafts etc), bathing , fixing boo boos, and putting them to bed. I've been put in the situation where the caring continues overnight into the next morning.
