Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hello families! I have lots of child care experience with long term nanny services, occasional childcare services and supporting after school programs for children 7 weeks to early teens. I speak French and conversational Spanish, with English as my first language. I am offering occasional nannying services if you need a caregiver for a date night or a trip out of town! For the last three years, I worked in development in West Africa. With strong roots in my hometown a few hours North of Toronto (I grew up on a family farm), I decided it was time to come home and spend time closer to family. I am extremely responsible and organized, and love planning activities. I\'m fun and very personal. I have a university degree in International Development and Global Studies and have travelled to over 24 countries on 6 continents. I am active and love playing sports and going for walks. I am also am avid reader. I live at Dundas and Broadview, but am happy to commute. Miriam NANNY - Cared for two children (elementary school age) during the day for summer months. Included planning activities, preparing meals and keeping house. CHILDCARE - Offered occasional childcare services for over 4 years to three families. I offered childcare services for one family of four children (7 week old twins, 4 and 6 year holds) for multiple years. One of the older children had a learning disability and required special care. For all of these families, I planned activities, prepared meals and kept house. YOUTH SERVICES - I volunteered with the youth after school program for the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health in Ottawa, ON where I participated in activities. DAY CAMP - I volunteered at a youth day camp run by the YMCA, where I participated in a youth training program.
