Hello Caregivers, My name is Heather Campbell and I am thinking of moving to the Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo area. I have devoted all my adult life to the instruction and caring of children. I have the reputation of being very nurturing and I have a special rapport with especially elementary children. I take my responsibility of taking care of children very highly and am good at helping them sort through the problems they encounter. I can communicate with children with humor and in a way that they understand and relate to. I am very creative in planning activities for the children. I love being active and having fun with them. Hello guardians! My name is Heather Campbell and I have spent over 20 years working with children of all ages in a wide variety of situations. One of the things that people comment time and time again is my obvious love for the children I care for. Also, children are drawn to me. I think it is because they know I care for them and have their best at heart, plus I am very patient. I have the experience that comes with age (I'm not that old though:) but am very youthful and energetic. Having spent quite a few years teaching in the classroom setting, I am able to ensure that proper discipline is kept. However, I find making sure the kids know what is expected of them and taking the time to inspire them to good behavior is often what is needed. I worked with children one-on-one in remedial teaching and private music lessons but also in groups in the school and camp setting.
