Hello, My name is Christina and I am a registered early childhood educator. I have always loved working with young children. I am currently working for the school board in a full day kindergarten classroom and going to the University of Windsor for Disability Studies and am prepared to help children with a variety of needs. I have about 8 years of experience working with children (babysitting, placements in childcare & school board setting, childcare facilities & volunteer settings). Sincerely, Christina During my ECE program I worked in an Infant room, Jk/SK room & toddler room. my duties included: -helping the children fall asleep -keeping the children safe at all times - diapering/toilet training -planning developmentally appropriate curriculum (math, science, music, art, literacy) - learning each child's strengths and abilities and building on them by providing activities of their interest I also worked for 3 months in a child care setting where I was the Infant teacher. (on occasion, I supplied in the toddler & pre school rooms when other teachers were ill) My duties included: - keeping the classroom clean & sanitary - feeding - diapering - taking children on walks - keeping up with log books (information about activities, outside time, menu for the day, attendance sheet etc) - planning developmentally appropriate activities for the children - singing/playing with the children - managing the routines of 10 different infants I am currently a Registered ECE in a kindergarten classroom.
