Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hello! Just a quick blurb about me and my experience with children. My name is Stephanie, I am 28 years old and I grew up in Hamilton, Ontario. I attended Cathedral High School where I completed their French Immersion program with honors. I went on to continue my studies at The University of Western Ontario where I obtained a bachelor\'s degree in sociology with a minor in psychology. Throughout my years at school I realized that people and children were my true passion. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old where I was a camp counselor at an over night horseback riding camp in Cambridge where I also taught lessons, lead trail rides and was head of the bunkhouse at I was 18. Since then I have been a family nanny for two different families. One in Waterloo with whom I spent 2 years caring for their family of three girls ages 10, 8 and 3. I went on to teach riding lessons full time for both children and adults but my specialty was the young, keen beginners. I moved to Toronto to follow my husband who began attending George Brown in pursuit of his sommelier certification. In Toronto I started working with a family of one child, aged 7 and I was with them with for 3 years. They are a german family who has returned to Germany so they no longer require my services. They only require my care from 4:00 on during the week so I am looking for something in the mornings for right now but as of July I will be available full time as they are returning to their home country.
