Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hello, I\'m Stacey I am 27 years old. I grew up with a large extended family so I have always been around kids of all ages. Anyone who knows me will say I have a weird connection with children, I think it\'s probably because I\'m not that much bigger than them! I\'m 4\'11 but even though I may be little I have no problem being the one in charge. I have years of experience from being a live in nanny in New York, to traveling with family friends to watch their children or give an extra hand while on vacation, as well as being a live out nanny and babysitting! I\'m used to watching multiple children at one time however I have no problem with just watching one at a time. I have experience with newborns up to teens. I also have experience with jobs outside of child care which gives me added value to how important it is to keep a child active not only physically but mentally so they are well prepared for the future. I have been a flight attendant so I am fully trained with infant and child first aid & CPR as well as other medical & emergency training. I absolutely love kids and can\'t wait to have my own but the benefit of being a live in nanny is I realized how important and hard it can be and know I\'m just not quite ready to have my own yet. I was a live in Au Pair for 6 months for a family with 3 children ages 6,3 &2. The mother had severe MS and the father was away a lot for work so I was the primary caregiver. I did everything from getting the kids up in the morning to making meals getting them dressed to taking them to birthday parties to volunteering & helping them with their school & sports. I have also nannied and babysat for a few families on a full time and part time basis. The kids I'm used to watching are newborns up to 12 years of age. I'm quite confident with multiple children at once and think kids are such neat little people and that is how they should be treated!
