Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hello, My name is Genevieve Darling and I am an enthusiastic 22-year-old looking for a full time nanny position. I recently graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and studied Sociology. I spent my summers up north working with children at Onondaga Camp. With the majority of my experience being with young girls ranging from the age 6-9, I have also had experience counselling boys of all ages and older girls. Working with kids has always come easy to me as I am enthusiastic, outgoing and enjoy being active. I was responsible for taking care of girls who were in between the ages of 6 and 9 years old. My main duties as a camp counsellor was taking care of eight young girls at a time, ensuring that they stay safe while also enjoying their time at camp. In the cabin I was responsible for waking the girls up, bringing them to all meals, ensuring they are staying hygienic while also enabling a positive and enthusiastic environment. Recently, after I graduated from Dalhousie, I took a trip to South East Asia and travelled around 7 different countries. Travelling is something I am so passionate about and was so fortunate to be able to do. They were the best three months of my life and I truly believe you can learn so much about yourself and the world by backpacking. I am enthusiastic about exploring possibilities about working as a nanny and I look forward to hearing back from you.
