Nanny in Thornhill, Ontario

I'm an
Individual
Hello, I have experienced much from leading large groups of children in drills and exercises intended for them to achieve excellence in martial arts. Whenever a child started to disrupt the class in protest of my authority, I learned of the things that should and should not be done when interacting with children. The first things that I have built in principle is that I should never scream at a child to coerce them into doing something that they do not want to do. If they do not want to practice martial arts, why force them to do it? As soon as they walk out that door, all the knowledge and experience will be discarded as they fill their innocent brain with distractions as video games and friends. My goal as an instructor of martial arts is to make martial arts a second nature to the children whom I teach, so that they may practice martial art with little discretion from myself. I visualize them being free with all the tools at their disposal to express themselves with whatever style they choose in martial arts. In the end, I want them to truly understand what I visualize and define as martial arts. I believe the goal of any adult in interacting with children is very similar. Adults always have something to say about a child's behaviour, since they have experienced so much and accumulated so much knowledge that they know how to differ from right and wrong better than kids. Unfortunately, this is not expressed in the right way a lot of times. However, a parent should never give up, because what motivates them to guide their children is out of pure love and interest for their child. Although I have never been given the opportunity to become a parent myself, that has been what motivated me to keep interacting with children all this time. Even after all my experience, I continue to make mistakes. However, mark my words, I have nothing but the deepest love and interest for each child I am privileged to share my experience with. A child has so much potential for growth and understanding life a lot better than us, because they will be equipped with our knowledge and experience so that they do not repeat our mistakes. This intention must also be balanced with willingness to let go and let the children discover such mistakes for themselves. Such balance will unleash the true potential of what children are exactly capable of. I hope that through this experience I will be able to have fun as I always do and create deep bonding with you and your kids. I can only do my best to accompany you in your journey of raising your own children. When all is said and done, I wish to be able to say my goodbye without the slightest regret.
