Hello! I am a linguistics student at the University of Ottawa with hopes of becoming a speech pathologist. I come from a small community located in the Acadian Peninsula of New-Brunswick. Children tend to warm up to me quickly as I have a friendly and approachable demeanour and love my energetic and creative personality when it comes to games. With the recent passing of my mother and being the eldest of 3 siblings, my maternal instincts have really kicked in. As I am a full time student I spend most of my time studying but when I do have free time I like to spend it outdoors. Currently skating on the Rideau Canal is my favourite outdoor activity along with hiking and fishing. I enjoy cooking and baking when the weather isn\'t permitting as well as caring for my pet guinea pig, Nerf. When caring for children I like to think of fun games to stimulate them rather than let them watch TV. I also like to get them involved with small chores like putting dirty dishes in the sink.
