Hello, My name is Jacqueline Pierce and I am 54 years old and looking for work in child care. I have raised 3 of my own children and I have 2 grandchildren. I love working with kids. My major was child development so I started working in daycares and worked up to working with abused children and kids at risk. I did this job for a few years but found it very emotionally taxing so I moved on to other jobs. I have worked in a college for the past 16 years and now I am ready to go back to my first love. I am presently working as a replacement in a local daycare on call and the children I have are 3 and 4 years old. As this work is not full time so I am looking for something else.. Office work was good but now I realize that I much prefer the company of children. I am very at ease with kids and I have a lot of experience.
