Hello! My name is Ezri, and I am excited to offer you my babysitting/caregiver expertise. I've completed my bachelor's degree and two college certificates in my field (Environmental Management), and spend my spare time volunteering with Girl Guides. I presently live in the Clarkson area (Erin Mills/QEW) and would love to work with a local family. My availability is presently open during the week, with a Friday afternoon commitment, and another job which requires only a few hours of my time each week. I’m aLao available for occasional evening and weekend support (date night etc). If this sounds like what you need, I'd be glad to hear from you! I spend my spare time with my Girl Guide units, in which I plan and lead weekly meetings plus outings and weekend camps for groups of 20-50 kids ages 9-15. I have spent my summers working at various day and overnight summer camps, and I have experience working with kids ages 3-16. I haven't previously worked with kids under 3 yet due to my past school schedule, but I am very willing to learn about your child(ren) and your family's routine, and become the "third parent" to your little one(s). I am a highly organized, detail-oriented individual capable of adapting to many situations. I am willing to help with school age kids before and after school (travel to/from school and activities, homework completion), complete evening excursions/play activities, and prepare them for bed, all while ensuring their safety and happiness to the best of my ability. I would love to spend time with preschool kids, learning through play and building on family routines, and going on adventures in the community. I am also capable of helping with meals and light housework (laundry, dishes, organizing) as needed. I have a current Police Record Check, CPR-C and Standard First Aid, and I have a Metropass to travel to work and a full G license to drive kids safely to and from school and activities in your family vehicle. My favourite thing about working with children is the smiles-the "this dinner is yummy" smile, the "that was fun!" grin, the "I figured it out!" beam, and the "I just learned this cool new thing" sparkle. I think the small things are what make a difference in someone's day, especially for kids, so I try to make that happen whenever I can.
