Hello ! :) My name is Amber and I am a third year student at the University of Guelph in the Bachelor of Applied Science: Child, Youth and Family program. Following my undergraduate degree I am hoping to complete a masters degree in either Occupational therapy or Speech Pathology. I have a great deal of experience working with children and youth from newborns to eighteen. I have had experience babysitting, coordinating camps, working in a group home and working in a child care centre. I am currently looking for a job beginning in late June for the Summer, but would also be willing to continue part-time child care during the school year. Sincerely, Amber Since I was 12 I have been babysitting children between the ages of 3 months and 10 years old. I have also done children\'s programming at the library in which I used to work at. I have been an assistant co-ordinator for a day camp and at times was supervising 40 children, I have also been a program Coordinator for a group home working with children aged 12-18. During the Fall 2014 semester I completed a placement at the Child Care and Learning Centre on the University of Guelph campus working with children aged 3.5-5years old. Through this placement I planned and implemented programming to meet the needs of all children as well as developing behaviour management techniques. During May and June I will be completing another practicum placement and am still awaiting confirmation of where it will be however, I will be gaining another 200 hours during this placement of experience with children under the age of 12.
