Hello! I am a Practical Nursing student at Algonquin College, who is looking for work with little ones! I have excellent experience as I babysat my whole teen years, as well as volunteered at the Good life Jump Start Program. (A program where we take your little ones and entertain them while mom works out) When I was in high school, I mentored children with learning disabilities, and taught them different learning styles to enhance their educational experience. My brother is dyslexic and I was able to apply what I learned in mentorship to helping him out as well. My most recent venture with children had to be when I worked at the Ottawa Hospital as a practical nursing student for my clinical in the Mother-Baby unit. Before that, I worked at Grant Alternate School, a school for children who\'s families are not financially stable for another clinical placement. It was there that I fell in love with caring for little ones, and hope to one day work in a children\'s hospital. I then volunteered at Goodlife's Jump start program, caring for infants and children between the ages of 1 - 7. Most recently, I completed my clinical rotation at the General Hospital working in the mother-baby unit.
