Hello! My name is Alysha and I am a recent Early Childhood Education student of Conestoga College. I have just two courses to complete till I am an fully certified Early Childhood Education. I am 20 years old and passionate for children and their growth and development. Through emergent activites i can not only have a fun time with your children and keep them busy i can also help them to grow and develop in all areas: fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, social & emotional and language. I have 660 hours of placement work through 3 childcare centers, with children ages toddler, preschool, and school age. Can\\\'t wait to meet you and your precious little one(s). :) I am a Early Childhood Education student at Conestoga College, i have completed both years. I just need 2 courses to fully complete the diploma. I have over 660 hours of work with children at numerous childcare centers in Cambridge. In those 2 years i created curriculum experiences to help develop the whole child (fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, social & emotional and language) each curriculum fostered the development of the child in a unique way and helped them to learn and grow through various projects (ie. reading, writing, games, play, science experiments, outdoor activities). I would also prepare and serve lunches and snacks to classes of 16-30 children on a daily basis. Socializing and playing with the children on their down time and preparing them for naps if required, ie: sitting with them rubbing their backs. During bathroom breaks i would change diapers if necessary as well as encourage younger children to try and use the toilet. Outdoor activities includes walks, supervising children on climbers and sledding on hills.
