Nanny in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Hello! As mentioned above, my name is Jennifer Kjargaard. I am 20 years old and I have lived in Saskatoon my whole life. I went to St. Angela Elementary School, then to Bishop James Mahoney High School, and I am now in my third year of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. In the future, I hope to complete the post-degree Nursing program at the U of S. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and involved in other team sports like soccer and volleyball. Previous jobs of mine include food service (Extreme Pita, Royal University Hospital), retail (The Body Shop, Crushed Accessories, Backside Boardshop), and health care (Stonebridge Eye Care). I have considered the options of several kinds of job opportunities to apply for this summer, but I feel very strongly about pursuing this opportunity as a nanny. I love getting to know different kinds of people and providing the best care that I possibly can. I understand that leaving your children with new people can bring mixed emotions, but I consider myself a trustworthy person with good intentions of providing nothing but love and excitement for your children. I believe that a nanny position would be such great experience and I think that if I was given the chance, that I could be really good at it. I enjoy being around young people and creating new relationships. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be considered as a potential nanny for your family. I am in my 3rd year of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, and am hopeful to complete the nursing program following my fourth year of Kinesiology. In grade 7, I took the baby sitters course and have had several years of babysitting ever since. I have cared for a wide range of ages, from babie and toddlers to 10 year olds. I have been a dance teacher for children 4 to 9 years old at Lakeview Elementary School as well as Georges Vanier Elementary School. This included teaching basic dance steps, coordination characteristics, and playing games to get the kids active and excited. Currently, I am a junior high youth leader the Forest Grove Community Church. I help out with the junior high group (grade 7 & 8) and really enjoy the opportunity to love and care for the kids every friday night. At junior high the kids have the opportunity to meet friends and build relationships, talk to leaders about questions or concerns, as well as learn about God. I really enjoy working with children and hope to broaden my experience of caring for families by being a nanny.
