I'm a fun, creative caregiver with many years of child care experience in various setting with children of all ages. I've worked mostly with children 0-5 years old. I have worked in preschool/ school setting as well as in private residential settings. I have been responsible for multiple children at a time. I personal experience caring for multiples. (I have twin 3 1/2 year old boys). My background also includes work with children with a variety of developmental delays and/or behavioural issues. I have worked with wide range of children with AD and have worked along side Speech and Occupational Therapists on numerous occasions. I also have taken part in various training opportunities that have been geared towards child development, and how to help children each their full potential. I have held a valid First Aid Certificate since I was 12 years old and also have my Food Safe amongst other Certificates. I have taken many college courses in Early Childhood Education at an accredited and recognized College Institution. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with children of all ages. I am comfortable and tend to be get along well with kids of every age. I am just as comfortable discussing video games and sports as I am coloring and having a tea party. I am very creative and resourceful. I love science and crafts. I am great at helping with homework as I have an easy time making things relatable and simple to comprehend. I love to cook and bake. Especially when I have a little helper. I always ensure every activity I do or environment I am in with a child is safe and age appropriate. I try to always stress safety, responsibility, accountability and respect for guidelines with every child I care for and I, myself, have always easily adapted to any other professional rules, guidelines, and requirements set out by my employer to their satisfaction.
