Hi there! My name is Shauna and I probably know more about Disney movies and Batman than your 5 year-old! I've been working with children since I was in high school and have experience with preschool through to high school, and with children with disabilities. I have spent the last six years working for the school board as a school and student support worker supporting students with autism in kindergarten, and grades 1-3. I'm looking for a change in scenery and would love to develop a long-term, close relationship with a single family. Beyond Disney movies and Batman, I love playgrounds, have a promising future as a LEGO architect, I'm well-versed in the chicken dance and the hokey pokey, and I can turn eating vegetables and other non-preferred activities into a game on the fly. As far as "grown up stuff" goes, I love my two cats (David and Goliath), musicals, strategy board games, and photography. I love French bulldogs, fruity herbal tea, and all things mermaid.
